Bubblelicious Balloon Workshop With Paris Chantilly
A Fun Filled Burlesque Workshop in Selby
On 20 May, Burlesque With Paris hosted a Bubblelicious Balloon Workshop at The Studios in Selby with nine of our wonderful burlesque lovelies. The workshop was full of laughter, smiles, and classic burlesque fun.
Bubble and balloon dance is a traditional burlesque style known for its slow, teasing movement and playful posing. This workshop offered a light-hearted and creative way to explore burlesque through performance and expression.
Classic Burlesque With a Playful Twist
Once everyone was dressed in their colourful balloon costumes, the group worked through the My Boy Lollipop routine. Balloon shimmies, expressive poses, and plenty of giggles filled the room as participants popped balloons using their lollipop poppers.
The focus was on enjoyment and confidence rather than perfection. Even if not every balloon was popped by the end, every dancer shone and embraced the playful spirit of the routine.
A Workshop to Remember
The Bubblelicious Balloon Workshop ended with smiles all round and gave our workshop wonders the chance to experience classic burlesque in a fun and supportive setting.
For anyone who missed out this time, do not worry. The Bubblelicious workshop will be returning in 2024.

“I am deathly terrified of balloons. I went into the workshop thinking it was going to be terrifying. HOWEVER it was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had. It was a great laugh from start to finish. Tina was very supportive and I had such a good time. I enjoyed the routine which was spicey and the concept of revealing your outfit whilst popping balloons is very smart and sexy. Would recommend and deffo do again in the future xx”
